Help with the BGS Control mobile app for iPhone and iPad
Phone
BGS Control is used by property managers and BGS Control staff to monitor and operate building heating and water systems. There is no public sign-up. Accounts are issued by BGS Control Inc. to customers under service agreement.
If your buildings are serviced by BGS and you need access, or you need an additional user added to your account, contact us using the details above and include your management company name and the buildings involved.
Use the same credentials you use for the BGS web portal. If you tick Keep me signed in, the app stays signed in between launches; if you leave it unticked, you will be asked to sign in again after closing the app.
Forgot your password? Use the Forgot Password? link on the sign-in screen, or contact us and we will reset it for you.
Check that your device has a working internet connection, then try again. The app talks to BGS servers, so it needs network access — it will not show live readings offline. If the problem continues on a known-good connection, contact us.
The Heat / Water switch only appears for accounts whose buildings include WaterWatch service. If your portfolio has water service and the switch is missing, contact us so we can check your account’s licensing.
Pull to refresh, or use the refresh control above the tabs on a building page. Readings come from the controllers installed in your buildings, so a building that is offline will show its last known values.
Your list shows only the buildings your account is permitted to see. If one is missing, contact us with the building address and we will check the permissions on your account.
iPhone and iPad. Keeping iOS and the app up to date is recommended.
Accounts are administered by BGS on behalf of your organisation. Email or call us using the details above and we will process the request, coordinating with your management company where required.
See our Privacy Policy for what the app collects and how it is used.
